Re: RoHS / DECA-BDE Compliance Statement
Halogen Free Statement
We have obtained the following statement from our supplier of monofilament (PET) raw material:
“The Type #26 Resin which we use is Polyester, and therefore contains no heavy metals. This resin complies fully with Directive 2000/53/EC of the Council of 18.”
The Alta Technologies, Inc. products listed below are compliant with the RoHS requirements and are DECA-BDE and Halogen free.

* Eliminated the use of brominated aromatic polymer CAS#88497567. As of June 1, 2006 our FLEX-GUARD FPE is compliant.
In regards to our ALTA-GLAS P and ALTA-GLAS HT materials we have obtained the following statement from our supplier of Fiberglass materials:
“In response to your concerns regarding the EU directive on the Restriction on the use of certain hazardous substances (RoHS) and Waste from Electrical Equipment (WEEE) which addresses the possible presence of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated biphenyl ester (PBDE), none of these substances are intentially or knowingly used in the manufacturing of the products.”
The information above is accurate to the best of our knowledge noting that we do not test for the listed materials, and the ultimate compliance of the product is contingent on no modification of the product and good manufacturing process.
